StoriBot is a product of Boxed 88 Pty Ltd (ABN 91 652 388 835), based in West Perth WA. We build the connection between the systems a company runs on and the things it has to say about itself — in its own voice, with a source behind every number.
Where we started
Starting in the hardest market for numbers.
We started with the ASX small-cap market on our doorstep — about 1,500 listed companies under $300m market cap, half in resources — because its continuous disclosure is the hardest test we could set for the numbers: JORC compliance, drilling results, clinical milestones, where a wrong figure is a real problem. We’re early. We’ve been building with a small group of companies, much of it at no charge, learning what a service like this has to get right before we ask anyone to rely on it.
What we found wasn’t a publishing problem. The part of a business that makes sense of its own numbers almost always lives in one person’s head — so the same pack gets rebuilt every month, the team works off three versions of the figures, and anyone with a question has to go and ask them. We think that part should live somewhere: connected to the systems it runs on, in the company’s own voice, open to the people who need it. The effort then moves to the one part only they can do — deciding what to say.
