A shared stori isn't just for reading — viewers can comment directly on the page. Highlight a sentence, a number or a chart, leave a note, and resolve it from inside the stori. No marked-up PDFs, no version ping-pong. Here's the whole flow, one screen at a time.

Why comment on the page

  • Any device, any time. Reviewers comment from wherever they open the link — web pages adjust to the device's size and aspect ratio.
  • No messy versions, one link. Comments live on the stori itself, and the same link shows the updated page after every change.
  • Easy comment system. You choose whether a link accepts comments, and you resolve them with the agent doing the rework.

Step 01

Open Share inside the stori

Inside any stori, open the sub-menu in the bottom-right corner and click Share.

Step 02

Allow comments on the link

The share links dialog with the allow viewers to comment option ticked

Click Create new link, or edit an existing one, and tick Allow viewers to comment. The same dialog sets the link's privacy — public, allow list, or organisation only; see How to share a stori for the full rundown. Save, and the link is ready to send.

Step 03

Inside the share link, open the sub-menu and click Add comment. You can then highlight anything on the page — a sentence, a figure, a chart — and write a comment against it.

Step 04

Reply or resolve

Every comment shows as a blue icon on the page. Click one to open the thread, where you can reply or resolve it.

Step 05

Work through the list

To see everything in one place, open the sub-menu and click Comments for a list of every comment on the stori. Then go back into the stori's main link and make the changes — describe them to the agent in the sidebar, or use the text editor directly. The share link shows the updated page as soon as you're done.

Your turn

That's the full loop: share the link, collect the comments, resolve them once — no v2 floating around. Try it at app.stori.bot.
